Welcome to Valera Collective (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of caleracollective.com (the “Website”) and the purchase of furniture and home products from our online store.

By accessing or purchasing from our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Online Furniture Retailer

Valera Collective is an online-only dropshipping furniture store. Products are shipped directly from third-party manufacturers or distributors. We do not operate physical showrooms or warehouses.


2. Product Descriptions & Variations

We make every effort to display product details accurately. However:

  • Dimensions are approximate.

  • Colors and finishes may vary depending on screen settings.

  • Natural materials (wood, stone, fabric, leather) may contain variations in grain, texture, or tone.

  • Minor variations are not defects.

We reserve the right to correct errors in product listings, pricing, or availability at any time without notice.


3. Orders & Acceptance

All orders are subject to:

  • Inventory availability

  • Distributor confirmation

  • Payment authorization

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason, including pricing inaccuracies or inventory discrepancies.

Important: Orders cannot be canceled once processing or shipment has begun, except as outlined in our Return Policy.


4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices may change without notice.

  • Payment must be received and authorized before order processing begins.

  • We accept payment via credit card, debit card, PayPal, or other authorized methods.


5. Shipping & Delivery

Furniture may ship via:

  • Freight carrier

  • White-glove delivery service

  • Standard parcel carrier (for smaller items)

Shipping Guidelines:

  • Delivery appointments may be required.

  • Customers must provide accurate delivery details and ensure access for delivery.

  • Inspect items at the time of delivery and note any visible damage.

  • Delays due to carriers, weather, customs, or third parties are not our responsibility.

  • International customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees.

Title & Risk of Loss: Risk of loss passes to you once the distributor ships the product.


6. Returns, RMA & Refund Policy

Valera Collective offers a structured return process for customer satisfaction.

6.1 Eligible Returns

  • Items may be returned within 30 days of receipt, unless marked final sale.

  • Exceptions: Opened mattresses and mattress toppers cannot be returned.

  • Must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from us before shipping returns.

  • Returns must be in new condition, in original packaging whenever possible.

  • Refunds will be issued after inspection and approval.

6.2 Damaged or Defective Items

  • Report damages within 7 business days of delivery.

  • Provide:

    • Photos of the damaged product

    • Photos of packaging

    • Order details

  • After review, we may:

    • Issue replacement parts

    • Replace the product

    • Provide a refund or credit

Note: Damage caused by a carrier arranged by the customer is the customer’s responsibility.

6.3 Nonconforming Goods

  • Items shipped incorrectly or misidentified must be reported within 7 days.

  • After approval, return shipping will be coordinated, and a replacement, refund, or credit will be issued.

6.4 Restocking Fee

  • A 5% restocking fee may apply for approved returns (except for defective or nonconforming items).

  • This fee helps cover handling, inspection, and processing costs.

6.5 Return Steps

  1. Contact customer service at contact@valeracollective.com to request an RMA.

  2. Receive RMA number and instructions.

  3. Ship the item back in original packaging.

  4. Once received and inspected, a refund (minus restocking fee, if applicable) will be issued.


7. Marketplace Sales & Branding

  • Products sold through Valera Collective may be listed on external marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, eBay) under the Valera Collective brand.

  • You may not imply affiliation with any third-party manufacturer or distributor.

  • Valera Collective reserves the right to update or restrict marketplace sales policies to comply with internal agreements.


8. Customer Accounts

If you create an account:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Maintain login confidentiality

  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.


9. Marketing Communications

By providing your email address, you consent to receive:

  • Order confirmations

  • Shipping updates

  • Promotional emails

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in emails.


10. Intellectual Property

All website content (logos, branding, images, product descriptions, graphics) is exclusive property of Valera Collective. No unauthorized use allowed.


11. Warranty & Disclaimers

  • Products are provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

  • Manufacturer warranties are provided by the distributor.

  • For defective products, follow the Return & RMA Policy above.


12. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for:

    • Indirect or consequential damages

    • Loss of profits

    • Delivery delays

    • Installation issues

    • Third-party carrier errors

  • Maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.


13. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

  • You waive the right to jury trials and class actions.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA.


15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates are reflected in the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of changes.
